I MADE SOME THINGS ON HALLOWEEN AND HERE THEY ARE. I FOUND THIS PAPER CUTOUT OF A PUMPKIN AT WORK AND WENT TOTALLY ILL ON IT. LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!! AND THIS IS A DIA DE LOS MUERTOS CALACA MASK I PAINTED ONTO A STORE BOUGHT WHITE MASK. BOOYAH.
POSTER FOR A SILENT AUCTION FUNDRAISER MY PLACE OF WORK IS HAVING. MOST OF THE TYPE IS SET. SOME WORK TO DOOOOOO STILL THOUGH. HERE'S FIRST ITERATION, THE FINAL, AND A PRINTOUT ON A BULLETIN BOARD. CLASSY.
some stuff i've been working on. the top one is a character from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. the middle one is my lady sleeping. the third is a house plant.
I've been too busy looking at bicycles online to post anything. i really want a new bike. I may convert my 70's Windsor to a fixed gear. that could be satisfying. I'm working on a poster for a small performance of the Wizard of Oz the company I work for is doing, also the business cards I designed for Jessica Keefe came in and they look super - more on that later. For now here's a photo of one of my shelves.
a sushi place near my place in jp hosts an event called "Maki Madness" every sunday. as long as you pay with cash they offer a long list of maki rolls for 4.50 each. the delivery charge becomes nominal if you're like me and order 389367 rolls at a time. test your skills and try to match the maki names to the crudely drawn morsels.
dug up an oooold unfinished project here. i was reading a book on pigeons (yup) and came across the factoid that Iron Mike Tyson raised homers when he was a kid and still holds them dear to his heart. i found this rather ironic along with i'm sure EVERY OTHER PERSON EVER.
also, don't you have days where it seems you drank a whole handle of this stuff?
stayed up late painting in my sketchbook last night. african wild dogs are noted for their instinctual practicing of socialized health care. after a successful hunt, food is brought back to the young, old, and ailing dogs. something to be learned here.
after upgrading living situations as well as operating systems i've scoured the internets for all the drivers i need to do the things i like to do on my computer. i've been super busy making over my new apt in jamaica plain so illustrations rarely leave my sketchbooks these days. i think my phone hates me. here is a portrait to be later refined.
